	Australian Freshwater Turtles by John Cann, 1998 My favourite book about snake-necks. It describes in excellent pictures all Australien turtles including some turtles of the neighbouring New Guinea and Irian Yaja: Difficult to get, but an absolute must for snakeneck enthusiasts. Excellent pictures !
	The Australien Pig-Nosed Turtle by A. Georges, S. Doody, J. Young, J. Cann Small booklet about the pig nosed turtle. Gives lot of information and pictures. A must for pig-nose turtle enthusiast.
	Practical encyclopedia of keeping an breeding tortoises and freshwater turtles by A.C. Highfield The overall turtle book to recomment. Detailed information about almost everything you need to know.
	Turtles of the World by Carl H. Ernst and Roger W. Barbour The turtle book that gives the key to almost any turtle. Detailed description of all species. Chapters devided into recognition, distribution, geographic variations, habitat and natural hsitory.
